How to Submit an Emergency Closing
If your library is going to be closed unexpectedly, please use the following link to submit your closed and re-opening dates: https://www.mainlib.org/closings/
- The form is password-protected. It will prompt you for a user name and password – simply enter the password in both fields. Please contact the MAIN office if you do not know the password.
- We highly recommend bookmarking this link on your phone, tablet or PC.
- Please also note that the form works best with the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
- Microsoft Edge and Safari may or may not work depending on the version. If you have an iPhone we highly recommend downloading Google Chrome to use to submit the form.

Filling out the form is as easy as choosing a library, the reason for the closure and the closed & reopening dates. Click or tap on the date fields to bring up a calendar widget for easy date selection.
