How to Generate EnvisionWare PC Usage Statistics
When the Reporting Module is first opened, the window below appears.
To access reports, click Reports in the main menu, as pictured below:

The Start Date and End Date can follow any of the following date formats and the format does not need
to match in both fields:
The Include section allows you to include or exclude any of the following options:
• Session Timeout: This shows PC uses that were ended by exceeding the number of time allowed at the library.
• Inactivity Timeout: This shows PC uses that were ended by exceeding the idle time set by the library.
• Early Close: This shows PC uses that were ended early by the patron.
• Forced Close: This shows uses that were forced to close by a staff member’s PC Reservation software.
• Declined Policy: This shows users who declined the user policy (if applicable) and were thereby denied use of the PC.
All reports show the total number of individual uses, the total time used, and the length of the average
By PC Area
If your library has PC Areas defined in your EnvisionWare setup, they might be entitled “Adult” and
“Children.” This report shows the usage defined by PC area.
By PC Id
PC Ids are the name of each computer. This report shows usage defined by individual computer names.
This report also shows a Query Detail section displaying the PC Id, User Id, time used and Status, which
shows the reason a session had been ended.
By User Id
User Ids are a library card number or a guest pass number. This report shows usage defined by individual
library patrons or guests. This report also shows a Query Detail section showing the PC Id, User Id, time
used and Status, which shows the reason the session was ended.
This report shows usage broken down on a daily basis. This report also shows a Query Detail section
showing the PC Area (if applicable), PC Id, User Id, time used and Status, which shows the reason the
session was ended.
This report shows usage broken down on a monthly basis.
By Day of Week
This report shows usage broken down by day of the week. It shows the total number of uses, the total
time used and length of the average session.
By User Defined Field
This is the same report as By User Id.
Saving and Printing Reports
Once the report has been run, clicking Generate can generate a printable report. There is an option of
exporting it as an .html file (which must be opened and printed in a browser) or a .csv (Excel) file.
By default, reports are exported to: C:\ProgramData\EnvisionWare\PC Reservation\Reporting
Module\data\filename.csv but this can be changed on the Generate page.
