Minimize your public PC downtime with these preliminary troubleshooting steps before opening a ticket.

Error Message: Failed to connect to server: cannot connect to socket

Check that the Envisionware Console PC (usually located in a staff area or network closet) is on. If it is off, turn it on. If it is already on, restart it. Then, go back to the staff PC and close the error message. Open PC Reservation again.

Error Message: Public PCs say ‘Unavailable’

Go to the Envisionware Console PC  (usually located in a staff area or network closet) and log in with the administration password. Click through any Windows Update related prompts. If the problem persists, restart the PC. Wait for the PC to come back up fully and then check the public PCs again.
