Configure a Barcode Scanner [Honeywell Xenon]
All Honeywell Xenon Scanners
- Scan one of these barcodes to adjust beeper volume and pitch.
Honeywell Xenon 1900 2D Scanner (discontinued)
- Set your scanner to read mobile phones and/or add a carriage return suffix with this configuration sheet.
Honeywell Xenon XP 1950g Corded Area-Imaging Scanner
- Please visit the Quick Start Guide
- Go to page 2 to connect the scanner.
- Go to page 8 to set Trigger to Presentation Mode or Manual Trigger (Default).
- Streaming Presentation Mode (page 8) not recommended since unit will not read mobile phone bar codes.
- Go to page 9 to set Add CR Suffix.
- Go to page 5 to restore Standard Product Defaults if necessary.
Honeywell Xenon XP 1952g Cordless Area-Imaging Scanner
- Please visit the Quick Start Guide.
- Go to page 2 to connect the scanner.
- Important: Make sure unit is charged for at least 24 hours in charging stand with power supply plugged in before using.
- Go to page 11 to set Trigger to Presentation Mode or Manual Trigger (Default).
- Important: Unit should be set to Manual Trigger when PC is powered off or not in charging stand to preserve charge by scanning appropriate bar code.
- Streaming Presentation Mode (page 12) not recommended since unit will not read mobile phone bar codes.
- Go to page 12 to set Add CR Suffix.
- Go to page 6 to restore Standard Product Defaults if necessary.
