The Digitech Committee was formed via a merger of the Digital Services and Technology Committees in Q1 2019. It serves as a sounding board for library staffs to compare notes and discuss best practices in the realms of both digital/electronic services and technology. It also acts in an advisory capacity for making MAIN‐wide digital purchases, changes to the monthly hardware group purchase offerings, and developing the MAIN Handbook of Services. Finally, the committee helps to develop the skills of staff members through training and vendor presentation opportunities. They meet the first Friday of every month.
